I step outside myself to reflect on what Ive done
 Is this who I wanted to become
 Led by the shame of you giving in
 We carve the path through opposition
 In the darkness that once created
 Defiance towards futility formed
 We sow the seed's that breaks free
 Bringing a new light into the shadows

 I was there at the end
 When the light faded
 And those that devour
 Rose from the abyss
 Like vermin breeding
 I'll be there when it begins
 Looking into my innermost self
 I see what needs to be done
 It reveals who I need to become
