Phobia

I'm trapped in this cycle
 I thought I could just look away
 While everything fell behind me
 The place I called my home is no longer standing
 It's been stripped to the bare bone
 The water is starting to drown me
 I will die if I keep sinking
 My heart of stone is too heavy
 I'm overwhelmed by this agony
 I just can't seem to understand
 How my world keeps spinning out of hand
 When I hit the ground, will I run or will I fall again?
 I have a noose around my neck
 The more I move, the faster I lose breath
 Is it so wrong to want to be someone else?

 My body's nailed to the floor
 My desperation is taking over
 I'm just a hollow shell
 I'm living in my own hell
 I've been slipping away for quite some time
 I don't know how much longer I have until I reach the bottom
