Sometimes things don't work out
 Sometimes flowers never sprout
 The garden bed is dead
 But the soil it'll mend
 The dreams of colours are still there
 Next spring, they'll bloom elsewhere
 Dreams of pollen are so hard to remove
 Can't picture anything else when I picture you
 I gave my all to this
 Even though you dismissed
 I was stupid to persist
 But you knew i couldn't resist
 Always thought you were forver
 If I got through the bad weather
 If I waited long enough
 You wouldn't act so tough
 Maybe you'd let me in
 And let me be your him
 But you never trusted me
 Wasn't smart to enough see
 You never let me in
 When I backed you up with everything
 Even though there'd never be more
 I still thought you saw me a little tall
 What was it that I see
 When your eye catches me

 Those 'non believers' were right
